The opponents have been known, but the full 2025 Texas Football schedule was released Wednesday evening.
The Longhorns will open the season by traveling to Ohio State before returning home to host non-conference matchups against San Jose State, UTEP and Sam Houston State. The first bye week for the Longhorns will be between the UTEP and Sam Houston State games. Texas will open SEC play on October 4th when they travel to Gainesville to take on DJ Lagway and the Florida Gators. A rivalry matchup against Oklahoma awaits the following week. The Longhorns will not play a home game in October.
A showdown with Georgia in Athens is scheduled for November 12th, following the second bye week. The Longhorns close the season by hosting Arkansas and Texas A&M.
