On Monday morning, Ft. Worth All-Saints offensive tackle, Demetrious Knox decommitted from the University of Texas.
This shouldn’t come as a shock, as Knox has been very vocal about visiting other schools. And, Texas coach Mack Brown doesn’t allow verbally committed players to attend other colleges during their recruitment.
A silly, outdated, and rather dangerous rule that is certain to continue to backfire as this generation adores the attention. But it seems Knox’ mind is made up.
Talked extensively with Demetrius Knox. He said “100%, no way†he ends up back @ Texas. He’s been decommitted since late last week.

I think this is an isolated incident. Knox is from Columbus, Ohio and has always favored the Buckeyes. Urban Meyer and Ohio State are heavily courting him along with Oklahoma, TCU, and Michigan.
Another reason for the optimism came directly from 4-star QB, Jerrod Heard himself.
