The Longhorns improved to 7-1 in Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship first-round games and have won 6 consecutive first-round games after defeating Iowa State 68-64 on Wednesday night at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
Texas overcame a sluggish start to finish strong and advance to the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament and will face Texas Tech on Thursday evening at 6:00 pm.
