The Texas Longhorns (16-12, 6-9) lost to the Kansas State Wildcats (20-8, 9-6) at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan on Wednesday night, solidifying the Wildcats’ regular season-sweep of the Longhorns.  Clinging to hopes of an NCAA Tournament invitation, Texas had little room for error prior to tonight’s contest.  The Wildcats notched win number 20 on the season and their third straight, strengthening their case for a berth in the Big Dance.
