The Texas Longhorns and Brigham Young Cougars will meet for the sixth time in history on Saturday, October 28th with a kickoff time of 2:30 PM at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium.
Texas will host BYU for the fourth time and has a 1-2 record against the Cougars at DKR-TMS. The meeting will be the first and last between these two programs as Big 12 member schools, as the Longhorns will officially begin play in the Southeastern Conference next season.
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian played two seasons as quarterback at BYU (1995-1996) and amassed 7,755 passing yards and 55 touchdowns.
The last meeting between these two programs took place in 2014 with BYU defeating Texas 41-7 in Austin. The Cougars are 4-1 all-time against the Longhorns.
