The Texas Longhorns are as “scrappy” as “scrappy” gets – today.  Playing a 1:00 pm game against Texas State and needing to win that game to earn a chance to play undefeated Kent State at 6:30 pm.  The Longhorns did just that.  Texas threw it all on the table and managed to beat Texas State by the score of 4-3 after trailing 2-0 early in the game.  The star of the game was Kevin Lusson who hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 9th inning with the bases loaded.   Corey Knebel ended up with the win but Cole Green pitched well as the starter for the game.
