The SEC thread

I'm kind of surprised that Texas is holding at 2nd in the sec with 4 home games. I expected them be in 3rd or 4th. Aggie stadium holds what? 108k seats but they are averaging only 99k; not a good look.

SEC
4. Tennessee (2) – 101,915
5. Texas (4) – 101,325
6. LSU (3) – 100,900
7. Alabama (3) – 100,077
8. Texas A&M (3) – 99,728
9. Georgia (1) – 93,033
10. Florida (3) – 89,944
11. Auburn (5) – 88,043
13. Oklahoma (4) – 83,595
15. South Carolina (3) – 78,910
22. Mississippi (4) – 66,913
25. Missouri (4) – 62,621
26. Kentucky (4) – 61,606
30. Arkansas (2) – 57,574
43. Mississippi State (3) – 48,597
75. Vanderbilt (2) – 26,507

FYI, the #1-3 highest attendance are in the B10: Mich, PSU, and OSU

Based on percentage of stadium capacity, Okiehoma isnt doing so bad.

If interested, the top 4 of the B12 are....

BIG 12
24. BYU (2) – 63,957
28. Texas Tech (4) – 59,280
33. Iowa State (2) – 55,788
35. West Virginia (3) – 54,862
And our 4 home games have been the least intriguing of our matchups. Tenn has good numbers in hosting Kent State and Chatanooga but they still have UTEP on the docket. We have Georgia, Florida and Kentucky remaining. Our number likely goes up a bit.

Pigs are hanging with Tennessee, leading 3-0 deep in the 2nd.

Every team Texas has left on their schedule either won today, or is leading.

Our "relatively easy SEC schedule" isn't going to be easy. The only remaining game that looks easy is florida.

Going to be fun to watch, hopefully Texas will be up to the challenge.

Arky is trailing Tenn but still anyones game.
But get your point. Oddly Arky and Gaggies and now Vandy worry me more than Ga.

Arkansas just went ahead of Tennessee, 19-14 with 1:17 left in the game.

UGA obviously the toughest matchup left but a loss to UGA doesn't hurt nearly as much as a loss to anyone else on the schedule.

Gotta play quality football each and every week going forward, every team has shown the ability to win a game even if outmatched.

FWIW, When I posted the pigies were leading, tenesee later took the lead only to eventually lose. Exciting game.

We have 6 games left. Hopefully we win them all, but 5 of those games are against teams that have shown they are capable of beating anyone.

On the plus side, even If we are ranked #1, there is no rat poison in sight.

Texas had better improve their run defense.

Bama gave up 166 yards on the ground while only managing 80ish (consider that is including Milroe rushing. Vandy had a huge time of possession advantage at 42 minutes.

Hate to say this but don't count out aggy. Just looked at their schedule and it's very favorable.
