I never heard about it. Sorry. He was one of the hottest names out there when we brought him to Austin. Like you said, it's been tough for him since he left.Yeah, that was official in March and I didn't realize he stepped down from Miami because Cristobal wouldn't make him their DC.
I forgot he was at Alabama in 2020 before he was on Meyer's staff at Jacksonville.
Guy has been disastrous since taking the Texas job.

Why not take SMU?Two 8 team division doesn't work very well. If you assume you have 9 conference games, then 7 are playing in your division, and only 2 from the other. The net is you would only play teams in the other division every 4 years.
A 9 game schedule where you have 3 anual games, and you play every other team every other year seems much better. For a 16 team BIG12 this does require more travel, but if you are far from the geographic center then no matter what the geography is working against you.
I wouldn't think the BIG12 would take SMU. I would expect them to take whichever 3 or 5 best PAC teams are available to them( Colorado already decided)
It would make sense for the Big 12 and probably a better add than Colorado. Why not take SMU?
Yes but USC & UCLA to big 10 weird too, as is UT,aggie,& okie to SECIt would make sense for the Big 12 and probably a better add than Colorado.
SMU to Pac would be weird.
