Regular Season is finished. Does Texas have enough to get in the tourney?

My opinion is that as it stands right now, Texas would get in the NCAA Tournament. 2 wins in the Big XII tournament next week week would seal the deal. CONVERSELY, if Texas were to get hammered in the opening game of the Big XII tourney, this would not look good at all and could do serious damage to the hopes of the Longhorns.

The Horns face Iowas State on Thursday night in their opening game.

I think Texas gets into the tournament as well. I don't think they are that good and they don't have a signature win but you also cannot convince me that they are not one of the top 68 teams in the country.

Gonna throw it out that Kabongo need to get his act together when it comes to shooting. Atrocious shooting percentage over the last few games. Brown can't do it all... Needs help from everyone else.

I heard today that Western Kentucky got in at 15-18 by winning the Sun Belt. It obviously is not about the top 68 teams. Texas could get the play-in game against WKU and win one.

Man, you expect the lower tier schools to participate in the play-in games but Texas? I wouldn't turn a play-in game down but jeez.... That's scraping it. Brings up the issue again of Rick Barnes, talent development and the fact that UT has never won a basketball national championship. What's up with that? We should at least have one!
