Don't  know who nor care who CTJ is, but I'll call some B.S. on the Alabama stuff. Will have to go through it more to see what he/she/it ( for the non binary people).

What does he mean by Allen has gotten bigger?
Let me know when you're ready to make your case.

Allen has gotten bigger. He has been in a weight program.

The title says "5-stars who"... and doesn't say anything about p5 schools.

It could be that only 5-stars have accomplished this , but you can't tell that from the title. I would guess this isn't uncommon at jucos, o other non BCS schools.
I think you can assume that there are not very many Freshman players who start the entire season, from game 1.

Certainly not many, but I would be surprised if there wasn't a single non 5-star from any school to meet the criteria.

This is showing way too much support for a very small segment of society.   Should the university also support heterosexual day as well?   Why must we inject this crap into our sports?   Why not just promote the team and let people enjoy watching a sport separate from any political ideology?

Sports are meant to be a reprieve from our day to day responsibilities and trials.  Stop throwing this crap in our faces; especially those of us who believe the gay lifestyle is immoral and inconsistent with our religious beliefs.
Been bleeding orange since 64 Cotton bowl, but now having 2nd thoughts

This is exactly the point, a minority group that has been historically and continually ostracized can benefit from a public show of support.

If you as a heterosexual christian found some way to be offended by a rainbow flag, I'm not really sure what to tell you. Just know that the public support could be of huge benefit to a kid, UT student, alum etc who has felt denigrated for who they are their whole life.

exactly.

Additinoally, is WBB doing so well with the woke crowd that they can piss off or irritate the majority of paying fans?  I dont know ANY women's sports that can afford to do that.

When my daughters were young, I use to take them to UT WBB games in spite of Jody Conradt. My grandkids are about the age to go to games without trouble. There is NO WAY I'm going to take them to a game that openly advocates homosexuality or lifestyle.  aint happenin,'  there's too much other positive stuff to do
What did Jody Conradt do that made you concerned about your kids?

What is your concern for your kids or grandkids by going to a sporting event that shows support for the LGBTQ+ community? Do you think it'll make them gay or something? More likely it's an opportunity to teach them that there are many different types of people in the world and we can show love and support to all.

Boo Hoo

As a ridiculously good looking, affluent, heterosexual male I encounter hatred daily but I don’t need everyone’s show of approval to know I have worth.

Or we can keep politics out of sport and not offend anyone, including “different types of people.”

Love the sinner. Hate the sin.

Just because a portion of society thinks something is ok, doesn’t make it  so.

Keep your support out of my sports and I will keep my judgement out of your sports.

You're opening a Pandora's box. Why not use football for all kinds of activism? Plaster anti-abortion messages on the sides of their helmets. Or have furry white uniforms to benefit the polar bears. The list is literally endless.

Football is football. Leave the politics out of it. And yes, seeking acceptance from football fans based on your sexual preference is pretty absurd in the first place, not to mention you're likely not doing this in front of a receptive audience.

Football is where we go to leave life's problems. You're doing nothing less than bringing those problems right into that sacred place. Mind you, I don't see people bashing LBGTSQ or whatever so much. I think it's more that people get tired of it being waved in their face.

Amen - God loves people (sinners) who He made in His own image, male and female He created us, but God hates sin. It is unloving to encourage and applaud sin against God
