I received this email this morning.

Just had a cup of coffee with Coach Akina. He said his biggest concern today is injuries. He wants his guys to set an early tone that this will be a very physical game. He wants Charlie to have to test his guys. Said they set a very high goal for this game.

Look for Texas to really try o get the shutout.

Good stuff. I would love to see a shutout so we can get swoops in early.

We are gonna sell out to stop the run and leave our dbs on an island. That should be a fun watch.

Works for me. A shut out would be sweet to see.

I hope we get a nice, big comfortable lead in the 1st half and can start working Swoopes in early and often.

This is the worst QBing play I have ever seen in the Big 12. Each week it seems to be worst then the last. Does anyone have a real Quarterback in the Big 12?

I was really hoping to see swoops for more than one series, bummer. Barring injury, I dont know where I see him in again this year.

Baylor's Petty says hi

If he can hold on to the ball and Applewhite is going to keep pounding the ball when the line is stacked, I think he is better suited for that kind of running then Gray.

Well...and theres that whole fumbling thing....
Very good chance that that plays a part in the decision as well. Great point.

That would make more sense the running him into a stacked line over and over. Utilize his speed.
