Pros:

Cons: His offense the past few years at Florida has hurt him.

Pro: Helluva defensive coach!!

Con: He hired Charlie Weis.

He knows the area & state for recruiting & could bring some Florida recruits to texas

Cons: he's overrated! His record overall & in the SEC is on par with Ron Zook! Zook is terrible!

His offense is TURRIBLE! texas' offense hasn't been good but muschamp's has been worse!

When you look at hiring a coach, you look for someone who can come in and win games and recruit well. Muschamp is the HC at one of the top 10(not arguable) jobs in college football and is not doing well. Doesnt make any sense that he would come to a top 3 job and succeed. He has just auditioned for your HC job and didnt do well.
