We should sign two S and at least 3 DTs in my opinion.
Most likely what's going to happen. 3 DB class of Brown, Cuffee and Jones.

3 DT class and pick whichever names you think we land. I could potentially see us landing 4 DTs, but 3 seems like the right number. The other thing is I think there's a good chance that Fitz could become a damn good 3 techish DT.

That's why this entire thing is interesting as hell. So many projections and choices that have to be made.

6 figs gold

...... perfectly content with saying that it’s not far fetched to see any of these kids sign with A&M on February 3rd.
...  remind the four-star DT why he fell in love with the school the first time around, as he explained to me the other night.

.... benefit of the doubt that he can sell stability to players like Jeffrey McCulloch.

....  but trust me when I say ...

.... that could still happen.
re: DMAC... 'stability' --"That made me giggle."    And a few more aggyisms... or, acro-aggyisms ...

6fig delivers the siren* songs of how aggy thinks, to the marrow of their bones. Going to the sec did not change a thing.

*siren song: songs of aggy phrases that captures the mind of the fans and draws them in... when everything else fails, wail the songs ... believing... it could happen

IT is saying there are qualifying issues with DCG.

I really like DCG's film but that could mean a shift in priorities at DT.

Something to monitor at least. With so many DTs on the board Texas should probably just go after different options if the qualifying issues seem to be serious.

My take on the number of spaces is 23 - 22. There are 64 players returning plus Evans and Santos might return. Then Norman might go medical. The third will tell who is most accurate.

I agree no sense is even going down this road. Go get Taylor, Daniels, and whoever else and call it day.

This class will be the epic of epic. I've just learned that we'll be taking 39 recruits instead of 26. So far, 31 are already committed - most are silents.

Of the 20 seniors-to-be, 13 will be found to have drugs and guns in their rooms on February 2nd (you're welcome) and will be dismissed. Boyette, Bluiett, Cottrell, Hodges, Perkins, Swoopes, and Vaccaro will remain on the team.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Obviously you are joking.

How much trouble would it be for someone with the know-how, to post a roster of recruits, with OV updates (proposed or otherwise) thru the final weekend.

Would help me catch all the way up if it gave names, nicknames, position, and any tid-bit of note.

I'm just finding (here and there) lists from before and after the dead period, not up to date, and by now I'm rather lost and unable to appreciate a good bit of the banter.

Appreciate any time and effort someone takes to do that (or Link?) Thx!!!

IMO, DCG's film is the best of any DT on our board.  He has a great first step.  And he is active, strong, all over backfields creating havoc

The only better in our region was Ed Oliver who we never had a legit shot at

And Rashan Gary on the natl level, who is better than even Oliver, IMO

But a clearinghouse issue might explain why he is something of a recruiting butterfly

The clearinghouse hit rate on DTs is the lowest in college ball I think.  This is why you oversign the position (thanks again Mack Borwn)

Hey Juan, I always wondered this, but haven't gotten an answer. Any idea why Oliver had seemingly zero interest in UT?

Lol! Dylan Haines with drugs and guns just wouldn't look right

To follow up on this, the 5-star DT Lawrence did go LSU

That gives them 3 DTs in this class (which is at 22 now)

Those DTs are a 5-star and two 4-stars (as the rich get richer)

Plus, their projected 2-deep at DT for 2016 is 4 sophomores

You have to believe this helps us with DCG and Taylor

...Also on the DCG/Taylor front, LSU should land 5-star Rashard Lawrence this morning

* Going down this road again

See G. Johnson and D. Lampkin. Let's not waste our time if DCG can't qualify at UT.

Know any reason why B Jones stock dropped?
I cant figure that out

He had a good year, his film is good, he has no weakness.  None.  He does everything you want at the position
