I once had a couple of beers with him and Tim. He was an even better person than he was an athlete
My former wife (fuck breast cancer) was going to class at UT when Earl literally ran into her at a hall corner and knocked her down. He picked her up and made sure she was okay. Told her “I hurt people.”

Walked her to her class and even made a point to check on her one last time as he was waiting for her when her class was over.

The post of Earl and cancer. Most of what I see on FB, I no longer believe.
No, as of April 2026, NFL Hall of Famer Earl Campbell is not known to have cancer. He has publicly addressed and debunked recent social media rumors, stating in early 2026 that he is in good health and not in the hospital, following rumors regarding his long-term mobility issues.
Here are the key details regarding his health:
  • Long-Term Health Challenges:Campbell, 70, manages chronic health issues related to his playing career, specifically spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spine) and a
    nerve disorder
  • Recent Status (2026): In late January and early March 2026, Campbell clarified on his social media accounts that he was not in the hospital and was doing well, despite enduring "painful" times and ongoing mobility struggles.
(diagnosed as CIDP in 2012) that affect his balance and mobility, often requiring a walker or scooter.
  • Family Connection:While Earl does not have cancer, his son,
    Tyler Campbell
    , was diagnosed with
    Multiple Sclerosis
(MS) in 2007, and the two have partnered to raise awareness for the condition

Thanks for clearing that up. I have removed the post. I'm very glad Earl is in good shape.
