I see this on a couple of Texas players too. I hate it. These are shorts. I can't tell that there is any padding but definitely nothing on the knees. I hope this fad ends soon.

And while Malik looks good, I feel Arch is much better. I’m a Malik fan for how he handles himself and he’s the reason I’m watching this game.

Worry less about the hair and the pants. Very few skill players have anything at all over their knees these days.

Yep. When I played, I was way above average height. Knee pads were above my knees, so did little good. Never had skin on my knees or elbows.

Elbows were my problem. They are so scarred I can't even feel anything that happens to my skin there.
