Nope, they definitely have methods of encrypted voice that is mostly impossible to intercept. Kind of like when you encrypt a file, unless you have the cypher code the file is unreadable.
However, the audio, before or after encryption/decryption, could definitely be heard from a distance. That's what the parabolic mics on the sidelines are for. And with artificial intelligence, the background noise from a noisy stadium could be removed. I can't imagine any programs going to those lengths, but some people totally lack ethics.

That's not a new exposure. I know they do things like cover their mouth. I suspect getting that audio information in this environment isn't near as easy as your post suggests. I don't believe a parabolic microphone could pick up the audio from the inside of a well designed helmet. Plus it's not like they would allow visible parabolic microphones to be pointed at the play caller.

This technology has been working in the NFL since 1996, and you know that NFL teams have at least as much incentive to cheat. If flaws are found those flaws will be fixed. If necessary they could call the plays from a hand held device that converts to audio.

It seems silly to argue against a system that is very secure, vs one that is inherently not secure because someone may try to overcome it.

I dont know if this is interesting or useful but...
I took the CFP ranking (not of much use since the top 8 just mirror the AP poll) and added the ESPN PFI odds to win their conference

CFP Ranking % Win Conf
1. Ohio State (5-0) 52.6%
2. Georgia (5-0) 43.9%

3. Michigan (5-0) 34.5%
4. Florida St (6-0) 79.6%
5. Washington (5-0) 28.8%

6. Oregon (4-1) 51.7%
7. Texas (4-1) 33.8%
8. Alabama (5-0) 39.2%
9. Oklahoma (4-1) 45.4%

10 Mississippi (4-1) 1.3%
11 Penn State (4-1) 5.0%
12 Missouri (3-1) 1.1%
13 Louisville (4-1) 15.5%
14 LSU (4-1) 11.5%

As it looks now, most likely 3 out 4 CFP slots will be Ohio St/Mich, UGA/Bama, and FSU.
Without controversy Mich would be in the mix but NCAA may expedite a preliminary ruling in light of the circumstances. If Mich wins the B10 and allowed to participate in CFP only to vacate games later it would destroy the validity of the playoffs.

There is no wiggle room for the 4th slot IMO and it comes down to four teams: Wash/Orgone or Texas/Okie.

If Wash wins, they are in and Texas & Okie are blocked out
The question comes if Orgone beats Wash in CCG. Does Orgone's resume beat Texas or Okie? That going to be close. If Orgone's CFP ranking stays above Texas' & Okie's, then that's the indicator

I like the Massey rating. Year in and year out they seem to be the most consistent rating with over 90 data points. Understand, however, the Massey rating is not a predictor, it is only data points up to this week; ie, even though UGA "looks" the best, their best win is against #20 Kentucky with #12 Missu, #10 Miss, & #17 Tenn coming up.

If you go by the Massey rating, Texas is sitting good as long as they take care of business and dont lose a game.

Not arguing, just pointing out that technology exists to steal encrypted wireless communication between the coach and player. I doubt very strongly that anyone would attempt to compromise it. BTW, using a parabolic mic was only an obvious example. There are other far less conspicuous technologies that could accomplish the same thing.

Well, let them try to hack this lol

Seems like you are arguing. If encryption is done correctly, it can't be broken, at least with today's computer technology. Since as you say it's unlikely they would try the point is moot... so I'm not sure what your point is, but at any rate hookem horns.

Upon further review it's not a pure 3-6-6, For example some teams play each other 3 times in 4 years.

I like the concept, play all of your conference opponents at least every other year, have games that need to be played every year played every year, then fill up the schedule having geography being a factor.
