Any word on the status of converting the field to natural grass?
This will be the third or fourth conversation from turf to grass or vise-versa in my lifetime.  What’s the reasoning this time?

i remember the last time we converted to grass it boasted some state of the art drainage system only to go back to turf less than a decade later....

Burnt orange colored artificial turf would be awesome.

There was info/rumors that came out prior to last season about the interest from Herman and CDC to convert the field back to natural grass.  At one point there were rumors it could've happened prior to last season.  Obviously it didn't and I wasn't sure if anyone had heard anything more about whether it may be getting consideration prior to this season.  With the North endzone hall of honor stuff and the soon to start SEZ renovations, I'm guessing the field may not be reviewed again for a while.

We should have grass. It's old school cool and we are old school cool. But maybe we don't have the technical expertise to keep it nice (calling out them bitches).

I’ve said this before and it doesn’t seem to resonate.... our turf (no one else’s) creates a glare on TV.... anyone else?  I just don’t think it looks good on TV.  Perhaps it’s jus day games??

I THOUGHT we went back to turf so we could host band competitions and HS playoff games without damaging the grass??

You said this in my presence . . . who are you referring to when you say "we?"

Our fake grass looks too green to me.

Watching Texas play KU and seeing numerous empty seats on the lower level. At tip-off it looked like about 1/3 were empty but most filled in. Maybe 85% full near the court for KU.

If Delconte is serious about the atmosphere for basketball, not only will he follow through with a 10K seat arena, but he will strip most of the seats away from the BMDs and make them available to students.

Maybe I'm naive with those sentiments.

I watched the last couple of possessions of the half. We out hustled them for rebounds but missed 3 open 3’s. This team will live and die by the 3. Our record proves we haven’t been very good hitting them. At least our D is looking good
