Coaching Changes-NCAA Football

Damn, I was hoping we'd make a run at one of those guys for OC.
Seems like the perfect time for one (or even both) of them to grab a HC job, if that was the goal

Maybe the think they are going to win the whole enchillada next year and will have even better offers then?

They do have alot of players returning

Well, they're co-OCs so a OC offer from UT may entice one of them.

Otherwise, either is looking at a Tulsa type HC job opportunity. Frogs are well-positioned to make a run at a Natty next year.

If already reported, apologies. I'm hearing Stoops has fired Jay Norvell and demoted Josh Heupel to QB coach. Also a rumor circulating about Hunnicut that I won't repeat.

Don't know what the rumor is but he is a senior so no big loss to the team.

Horrible on the program, appearance-wise. If they were doing what Charlie does, it couldn't have happened, IMO.

Rumor going around that Synder is about to hang them up at KSU.

I would think the Snyder thing goes down after NSD. Prestigious coach who will be missed by KSU and the Big 12.

Hell, I won't miss him because UT's record against K-State is abysmal.

Snyder is a helluva coach whose shoes will be very hard to fill. It'll be interesting to see who they bring in if the Wizard is finally retiring.

Snyder is a legend. I can't imagine who KSU would bring in to try and fill those shoes. I think the best course of action would be to go young and fresh. I expect KSU to be very different than the KSU we're used to seeing once Snyder retires. These are the guys I'd watch out for with KSU.

Mike Norvell - Arizona State Offensive Coordinator

Norvell deserves a lot of credit for Arizona State's stellar offense. He's ready for a head coaching job and I think KSU could be a great place for him.

Scott Frost - Oregon Offensive Coordinator

The question here is, is KSU deserving of one of the biggest Coordinators out there? Frost will likely have his pick of schools once more coaches are dismissed. KSU may not rank high enough on the list for him.

Lincoln Riley - East Carolina Offensive Coordinator

Lincoln is more likely to take an OC job at a bigger school. But I'd be surprised if KSU doesn't ponder this.

Kirby Smart - Alabama Defensive Coordinator

Kirby would be a big get for KSU. And if they did take him, depending on who he brought in for his Offense, KSU would likely stay loyal to the style of football we've come to know from them.

Justin Wilcox - USC Defensive Coordinator

Keep an eye on this one. It was a rougher year for USC defensively but Wilcox is still a rising star. This could be a good, quiet but solid move for KSU.

Dana Dimel - KSU Offensive Coordinator

This is likely your guy. Albeit boring, this is probably your guy.
