The point on a brisket is typically the fattiest cut. Pitmasters often trim the point (and select edges) off a brisket and return those pieces to the smoker.

After a much needed win over Oklahoma, it feels like the Longhorns can turn around their season. At 2-4, the Horns sit in exactly the same place they were at this time last season, but things have a different feel to them. The Red River Showdown is a game that draws all the eyes of the State’s top players, and this year was no exception. We spoke with a number of recruits and offer these tidbits from the aftermath of the big win.

 

 

 

As HornSports first reported, Allen offensive lineman Greg Little was in attendance. The top offensive lineman in the nation attended the game with some teammates and isn’t really considering Texas at this point. Still, any exposure Texas can get with the massive tackle is good….
