Following the #21 Texas Longhorns 38-18 win over #23 Louisiana on Saturday, sophmore running back Bijan Robinson was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation (WCFF) Offensive Player of the Week. Robinson amassed 176 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns to lead the Longhorns to an opening-day win at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium.
Robinson eclipsed the century mark on the ground, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
He also caught 4 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Robinson becomes the 11th Texas player to receive Walter Camp Player of the Week honors since the 2004 season.
