X-factors to watch in Texas’ game against Arkansas [VIDEO]

This weekend, the Texas Longhorns will take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In the YouTube video above, our Devon Messinger and Dylan DeRaud name their X-factors to watch.

Messinger’s X-Factors:

My players to watch will be Jaydon Blue and Quintrevion Wisner. Last weekend, the duo only combined for nine carries in Texas’ 49-17 blowout win over Florida. However, against a tough defensive front, the group will have to help the offense set the tone early to help open up the passing game.

DeRaud’s X-Factors:

The unit that I feel will be a difference maker in this matchup will be the Arkansas offensive line. Coming into the season, the O-line was started from scratch with multiple transfers and new, young players. However, they have begun to play better throughout the season and have been an important factor in giving Taylen Green chances to make plays. The line’s play came to a screeching halt though against Ole Miss where they allowed 9 sacks to the Rebel defensive line. If this type of performance happens against the Longhorns, the Razorbacks will be in for another long day. Therefore, if the offensive line can allow some breathing room to the backfield. I believe Arkansas has a chance to hang around and play spoiler to a top-five team at home.
