The Texas Longhorns’ defense will certainly face a tough challenge when they take on Georgia, especially with quarterback Carson Beck and running back Trevor Etienne leading the Bulldogs’ offense.

Carson Beck, a seasoned quarterback, won’t be fazed by the roaring crowd at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. His strong arm, quick release, and ability to remain calm under pressure make him a potent threat. Beck has already thrown for 1,818 yards and 15 touchdowns, proving his effectiveness as a leader. With great pocket presence and the athleticism to extend plays with his legs, Texas will need to maintain pressure while containing his mobility. Georgia is likely to be aggressive in their passing game, and Beck won’t shy away from big, downfield plays.

Running back Trevor Etienne, Georgia’s leading rusher with 335 yards and 4 touchdowns, adds another layer of difficulty for the Longhorns’ defense. He’s a patient and powerful runner, capable of grinding out tough yards between the tackles and breaking off explosive runs when given space. Texas will need to limit his impact by controlling the line of scrimmage.

Arian Smith, a dangerous wide receiver with 412 yards and 3 touchdowns, provides a deep-threat option for Beck. His speed and ability to make big plays downfield will put pressure on the Texas secondary, forcing them to stay disciplined and avoid giving up large chunks of yardage.

For Texas to remain undefeated, it will be crucial to limit Georgia’s explosive plays, force turnovers, and disrupt Beck’s rhythm in the passing game. The Longhorns’ defense must rise to the occasion to contain these playmakers.
