ASHEVILLE, N.C. —  Courtney Ramey scored 14 points for the Texas Longhorns (2-0, 0-0), including the game-winning layup over the Davidson Wildcats (1-1, 0-0) en route to a 78-76 victory in Round One of the Maui Invitational in Asheville, North Carolina. Ramey’s bucket with :20 remaining in the game came after a call that originally gave the ball to Davidson but was reversed after the replay showed it was touched last by the Wildcats’ Sam Mennenga.
