The Longhorns landed a big-time addition out of the transfer portal in Stanford wide receiver Emmett Mosely V. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound pass-catcher brings size, production, and experience to the Texas offense, becoming another valuable target for quarterback Arch Manning.
Mosely, ranked the No. 8 overall player in the spring transfer rankings per ESPN.com, had a standout freshman campaign in the ACC while playing for Stanford. He led all conference freshmen with 48 receptions for 525 yards and 6 touchdowns, averaging over 10 yards per catch. He finished the season as Stanford’s second-leading receiver, showcasing his ability to make plays at the collegiate level.
A former three-star recruit out of Santa Margarita, California, Mosely brings a large catch radius, strong hands, and the ability to win contested catches. His combination of size and skill gives Texas another weapon on the outside as they continue to build a dynamic offense.
