While Mack Brown and company are putting the finishing touches on the 2013 signing class, the 2014 prospects are becoming a hot commodity.
One in particular gave his verbal to Texas moments ago (Per Eric Nahlin). Sharpstown CB Roderick Bernard becomes the seventh member of the 2014 recruiting class for the Longhorns.
Bernard is a 5’10, 170 lbs cornerback (he’ll play wide receiver on the Forty Acres) with speed to burn, who has unofficially been clocked in 40-yard dash at 4.2 Bernard was also the District 21-4A 100-meter and 200-meter champ in Track and Field in 2012.
