Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught a touchdown pass from Sam Ehlinger with :21 left in the game to give the Longhorns a 41-34 win over Texas Tech in Lubbock. Texas improved to 7-3 on the season and 5-2 in Big 12 play.
Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger threw for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns, and broke the Big 12 record for consecutive passes without an interception (previously held by West Virginia’s Geno Smith).
The Longhorns will host the Iowa State Cyclones next Saturday in Austin.
