I see this occupy Wall Street stuff and all I can figure out is that it is abaout a bunch of people wanting free money??? Get a job and a life.

So when the Tea Party protests they are patriots but when a lot of other people protest bailing out they banks instead of homeowners, they are lazy and don't want to work? Plus for millions of people there are no jobs but there is always money for another useless war or to help a corporation ship jobs overseas.

Oh and what is the Republican controlled house doing these days? Well instead of tackling jobs they passed an abortion bill.

HAH! You hit the nail on the head - the liberals had to put something in place because the conservatives have the tea party. The only people I have seen in this occupy wall street business are hippies that have orange hair and look like they haven't worked a day in their lives. The majority of them are students (probably skipping class because they don't know what it's like to actually WORK). Most sane people do not want corporations to rule the roost but it is not fair to make them pay through the nose because they are successful. The opposite of capitalism is what we have now - the Government trying to own the banks, the healthcare system, the automobile industry. If you don't stand up for your rights you will soon find that you have none.

Most large corporations pay little to nothing in taxes and their CEO's pay a lesser percentage of their salaries than their secretaries.

and students have been on the forefront of social change all over the world and the difference is the Tea Party is armed and gets protection from the authorities and the Wall St protesters are tasered.

Occupy Wall Street protesters are fornicating in the streets, doing drugs and being loafers. They have NO agenda! There is no leadership and it is simply a bunch of deadbeats thinking they are promoting social change. Not true because nobody knows what they wnat or why they are doing what they do. Take a look at GE's taxes (Big Obama supporter) and then let's talk. The top tax bracket for US corporations is 35%. General Electric's President (and Obama's Buddy Jeffrey Immelt) paid NOTHING in taxes in 2010.

This pseudo movement is a joke because ALL politicians follow the almighty dollar. Obama must go because he is a horrible President and knows nothing about how to create a job. Nothing personal.

I'll stay neutral on this one but I feel like the nation needs help. The unemployment rate is really bad and I am not sure we have a candidate on either side that knows how to fix it. Another stimulus is not the answer - we need to find a way to better manage our debt. Maybe superman will arise and fix everything?

Debt is a problem..but not the problem..The problem is there are more people needing jobs than jobs.

BTW..This movement has went viral. There is reporting that hundreds of thousands are marching in Europe and today there was an estimated crowd of 20,000 in Times Square..Just keep thinking this is a bunch of dead enders and pot heads..

I suggest my conservative friends turn the station off of Fox News and see what is really happening, not what Murdoch's spin machine wants you to believe is happening.

I saw the crowds in Europe and in NYC and it is nuts! If they can channel that energy into votes at the polls then that would be powerful. They are certainly getting a lot of attention but not sure how they intend to use that attention...

That sir is the question. Where does this lead because unlike the media's love for the Tea Party, this group seems to be getting negative coverage.

Occupy Oakland shows that this group that had no identity nows has one - violent protesting. What makes matters worse is Obama and that idiot Oakland mayor support this movement. The number of reported sexual assaults at these "peaceful protests" are growing increasingly as well. This is a joke and someone needs to shut these folks down before a lot of people get hurt.

Oakland is Oakland, NY is NY and so on..but ..to my tighty righty friends, this is not going away. I sometimes wonder what the groups want or expect to accomplish but there is real anger and dispair out there. Democracy is messy and sometimes ugly..
