Wonder if Mack telling kids commit to the school & not the man?

The past few days Mack has landed a couple of recruits amidst all the fog of his status. He got the commit of a kid from Dallas Carter just this morning and he got the Henderson kid from Longview, who originally gave his verbal to TCU. A friend that knows the Henderson kid asked him point blank about Mack. He was told that Mack assured him he would return for 2014. I know he probably couldn't say anything other than that. But I'm wondering if he's encouraging the kids to commit for the education and the Austin experience and not so much who leads the program? Just wondering . . . .

he told Henderson that yesterday?

Let me put this to bed. Bottomline, Zaycoven is committed to the SCHOOL, not the STAFF. He's been told Mack would be back, and like every other intelligent person he is watching it play out but thinks he can be dominant in any scheme.

The internet and social media today are extensions if these kid's fingers. I'm sure they're all just as aware as we are of Mack's future.

For what it's worth, here is a quote from the Beaumont Enterprise regarding Mack's visit with Tony Brown yesterday:

"It clears up a lot of stuff that you see on ESPN," said the Ozen senior. "They just said that (Mack Brown) resigned, then he walks in my door with the Texas stuff on.

"Coach Brown has not resigned. The media all day today has been talking about how he resigned. That was made up."

Tony Brown paused before responding to a question about whether he thought Mack Brown will be the head coach at Texas next season.

"I can't read the future," said Tony, who is ranked as the best football recruit in Texas by Rivals.com. "I'm not a psychic. As far as this meeting went, from what he told me, he should be (the Texas coach next year)."

Hampton sounds right. He may have already given a verbal, but he was on a DFW station this morning announcing as if he hadn't given his verbal. IDK.

OK so I do not know who committed this morning...but I am sure that we will find out.
