Who do we finish with? Off season fodder

OK,

bored right now need my recruiting fix, who do you think (especially our mods) we close the class with?

Coburn and Ingram are key commits but look like they are going to make us dance till the end.

Assume we get those, we are at 21.

So who fills the class?    Who are the biggest needs (transfer OL and DE in my book)?

IMHO, we really need offensive linemen and interior defensive linemen. In Orlando's scheme, I think the Nose/DT is a key ingredient (think Poona). Having a stud there that eats up blockers and wreaks havoc makes the linebackers and ends better. That spot is key to stopping the run.

And it doesn't take a genius to see the offensive line needs major improvement. They desperately need to get to the point where they can redshirt freshmen linemen to enhance their development. Unfortunately, not at that point yet.

It will be interesting to me to see who they get.

I think we will finish with:

- 2 OL grad transfers (or 1 GT / 1 JUCO), 1 guard and 1 tackle: If I'd have to put money on somebody, it's Anderson and Valentin, but a lot is fluid here with guys potentially announcing in the future

For the HS ranks, we will get:

- 2 DEs: Ossai and hopefully Carson?

- 1 Slot WR: Waddle

- 1 Speed back

- 1 LB

- 1 OL

- 1 DT: Ojomo

Obviously we get both Coburn and Ingram, which puts us at 28.

I would also like to see us get after another TE, that is more of a run-blocking TE, but I don't think that's a focus of the staff right now

I think we have a very good shot at all of the above and a better shot at a couple, and one is already coming. 

The grad transfers won't count against the class, just the 85.

Poona will be hardest defender to replace getting any o-line or d-line grad transfers will be much needed. if Anderson from Rice picks Texas he and Grandy will start at tackles if Hudson is healthy he will be at guard with Vahe.
