I think it would be cool to have a running thread or at least occasionally feature an ex-Texas football player and what they're up to these days. It's always interesting to see them become successful after football and how they achieved it, etc.

I ran into someone who told me about Selvin Young starting his own company.

Here's a link to his company's website. He and his big smile are on the front.

Some of the best battles on the field I've ever seen was Curtis Brown in coverage vs. Denarius Moore.

Whats his website address?

I run in to a few Longhorns here and there while doing business. I've done business with Marcus Myers and have sent several clients to my buddy Chance Mock, a contractor in Austin until recently. BJ Johnson and his lovely wife just had a bouncing baby boy not two days ago. Sloan Thomas has two good looking kiddos these days. I'll think of more, later.

What a great entrepreneurial business.  Good luck to him.

Thanks, shotime. Noticed on his site that there are no products or prices listed. You can buy, but I guess you just assume there's one thing and can buy as much or little as you want?

I met Tommy Woodard last spring in Caldwell, Texas.  Woodard played on the 1969 and 1970 NC teams. He was working in

Caldwell as a petroleum landman.  Really nice guy...I remember thinking I might be pretty cocky had I played on two Texas

NC teams!  But he was fun to chat with about current UT sports.  Back in the early 1980s Rick Fenlaw (Texas LB on 1975

and 1976 teams) was in the oil and gas business as well...no idea what he's doing currently. Fenlaw wore #55 and played

GREAT LB for Texas.  Fenlaw, Lionel Johnson and Bill Hamilton were a terrific trio of LBs for Texas in the mid 70s.  They

were all seniors on the Texas defense that played OU to a 6-6 tie in 1976...the greatest performance by a Texas D I ever

personally witnessed.
