UT President Bill Powers on thin ice? Hope not.

I urge everyone to support UT President Bill Powers whether you agree with his stance on tuition increases or not. There is speculation that the UT System's Board of Regents want Powers gone for being critical of the UT System Regents decision to reject a tuition increase. From my perspective he has looked out for The University first and foremost with respect to high academic standards and excellent programs and services for students. I think we need to keep college affordable, especially for a state school, but the university is only as good as its students, faculty, facilities and academic programs.
