Being in the Alamo Bowl is good for those that don't like long commutes. I'm underwhelmed. Listen to David Pollack and Mark May. This has blowout written all over it.

If you asked me after the BYU game how I'd feel about the Alamo Bowl, I'd be pretty much elated.

David Pollack hates Texas. He's always going to complain about anything and everything he can UT related. Its like the guy is mad he didnt come here or something.

David Pollack and Mark May are entitled to their opinions. I am entitled to decide whether or not I care about their opinions. I do not.

I understand the disdain for most of the ESPN talking heads. Pollack and May are not on my Christmas card list, either. But what they spoke was true Sunday night, IMO. I fear a Freedom Bowl type rout against Oregon. Please, please tell me I'm overreacting. What I saw this past Saturday in Waco gives me very little reason for enthsiasium when we trek to the River City.

I live in San Antonio and I AM underwhelmed as well. If going to the Alamo Bowl is the aspirations of the University of Texas Football Program today then I suggests everyone immediately stop donating to the University of Texas in any capacity- not just Athletics!

Sure was nice having the Alamobowl on Saturday last year. Having it on a Monday work day is going to be interesting. That said, it is a hell of an interesting match up for the team. You have to wonder who is going to coach them.
