**Tom Herman Signing Day Press Conference**

Tom Herman will meet with the media at 4 PM to discuss today's signing class. Follow along here for live updates

Just reminder that Tom Herman will only be allowed to comment and discuss players who have signed LOI's. He will not be able to talk about any prospects that have not signed, even if they are committed (Adeoye, Coburn, Ingram)

Texas has yet to tweet out that they received Anthony Cook's LOI, so Tom Herman will not be able to comment on him either.

Tom Herman-"We're not done yet. We feel like we have taken a very important first step in our 2018 class."

Herman thanks the Texas High School Coaches Association. Praises them for welcoming him with open arms.

Herman-"The early signing period is good for the players who know where they want to go"

Herman says he expects 9 guys to enroll early and participate in spring ball

Herman-"8 out of 16 signees I never even saw in their home or at their high schools."

Herman says they plan to take 8 more guys in the class on top of the 2 or 3 who haven't signed yet. Wants the final number to be 28 or 29

"We expect 1 or 2 more guys to sign by tonight or midnight Friday"

"We went from signing 0 players in the top 10 of the 247 rankings last year, to 10 of the top 15 this year"

Herman talks about how important relationships are in recruiting.

On the two quarterbacks-"Both can compete for the starting jobs. I've never seen a program go through a full season with 2 scholarship QB's"

Herman adds that both QB's can run and pass. Says Cameron Rising is not just a passer.

Herman says Junior Angilau is undecided on his decision to take a mission trip.

As it stands right now, Texas will have 9 scholarship Offensive Lineman in the spring.
