The similarity between Texas and Louisville

It's really interesting looking back at Strong's tenure at Louisville. Strong is taking essentially the same approach. We might lose a few games this year but Strong is building his culture and team. It really is interesting looking at the parallels between Louisville and Texas. Strong dismissed/suspended a bunch of players when he took the job at Louisville and that probably cost him a few games in his first two seasons. Granted, that culture change and rebuilt roster is what allowed Strong to go 11-2 and 12-1 over the last two seasons. One thing  I've learned is that Strong is not a "fake", the way he's handling Texas is a mirror image of how he handled Louisville. I saw a Louisville fan post this tonight and I think it sums everything up perfectly, "Didn't take long for Strong to do his thing. I'm sure Texas fans are worried like we were. You can't see change without change something we all learned here under Strong."
