SignUp Now!I read that as well. A source close to him said he'd listen to Texas specifically too.John > Nick >Jim
I thought I read an article saying he was frustrated by how busy and hectic his schedule was.
John would be way better than anyone else the Horns could sign.
Well according to that article, Texas sent him an offer tonight. If John Harbaugh is ready to go, you offer him now. He shouldn't be considered a "backup" plan to Saban.
I stand corrected.Actually, he has about 13 years of college coaching under his belt, so he has done that part of the job before. He'd have to get to know the Texas coaches, but hopefully Suddes will help him out in that (if he were to come).
One can only hope, and he accepts. Screw Sabans wavering ass. Sorry to be so bluntWell according to that article, Texas sent him an offer tonight.
Saban is my #1 candidate but I don't see how he takes a backseat to Saban when he did something he couldn't or quit on. Winning a Super Bowl title. If John Harbaugh is ready to go, you offer him now. He shouldn't be considered a "backup" plan to Saban.
most as a Special Teams coordinator. What makes us believe he will be a great college coach? Here's his college experience.
Western Michigan University
(Running backs coach)
(Outside linebackers coach)
University of Pittsburgh
(Tight ends coach)
Morehead State University
(Special teams coach)
(Secondary coach)
University of Cincinnati
(Special teams coordinator)
Indiana University
(Special teams coordinator)
(Defensive backs coach)
Is Saban really without risk. I know what he's done before. Question is how long can he really be expected to sustain that effort and intensity given his age?most as a Special Teams coordinator. JH - risk
NS - not so much.
I dont see what people see in John H. Could he be a great hire, yeah but there is significant risk. Sure he can flash the ring but you need more than that. Not saying he doesnt have it but who knows if he does.
