Thought this deserved it's own thread. First matches about to tee off from Eugene, OR.

Oregon starts the day up 1-0, as All American Beau Hossler's shoulder injury from yesterday leads to conceding his match today.

Texas comes in as the #1 seed, ranked #1 in the country. Oregon is the #6 seed, ranked #20 in the country, taking advantage of playing on their home course.

Gavin Hall just teed off going against freshman Edwin Yi.

Gavin has been playing well, winning his semifinal 4&3

Beating a tough Oregon team on their home course without our best player is gonna be more than semi-tough.

Gotta win 3 outta 4 matches #TakeDeadAim

Incredibly classy move by Beau Hossler apologizing to his opponent, senior Zach Foushee, for not being able to participate today.

Oregon gets the point, but the UO senior misses out on an opportunity to compete in his final match.

Scottie Scheffler vs. Aaron Wise. Scottie is one of our best, but Wise is this year's NCAA Champion, won the Pacific Coast Amateur on this course, and this is, of course, his home course. This is going to be a good one!

I may have missed but I never saw Casey Martin, the Oregon coach, shake Beau's hand on the first tee. Coach Fields made sure to shake the Oregon's players hand.
I'm watching and I'm pretty sure he didn't. I'm sure it wasn't meant as a slight, but yea, he probably should have.

And I'm really getting tired of hearing Oregon this and Oregon that. I've watched the coverage every day and it's getting nauseating.

Currently 2 to 2. We need to win 3.

Gavin Hall 2 down through 6

Scottie Scheffler 1 up through 5

T Funk 1 down through 4

Doug Ghim 2 up through 3

Gavin with a terrible miss on 7, which would've won him the hole. Instead, he halves and remains 2 down. We really need him to make the comeback and get the first match for us

Gavin Hall 3 down through 9

Scheffler 1 up through 8

Funk all square through 6

Ghim 1 down through 6
