Texas Rb commit taking official visits

I would not sweat it. He may the first of the commitments to come out and admit they are going to take visits but, I seriously doubt he will be the last.

How can you blame any of these kids for wanting to take some visits with all the indecision on the 40?

...you are much too smart as per the above statement mcphaul. we actually have no choice but to "blame" them... since the term "commit" is supposed to mean something.

Once again, today's recruits are much more smarter / advanced than what they used to be. Should they want the constant "thrill ride" of testing the waters.... simply DO NOT COMMIT!

Thought he had an injury that he may or may not come back from anyway. Didn't he lose feeling in his arms and legs and has not played since that injury?

If you followed Shorts recruitment closely you will be well aware of that Short committed to Texas and in doing so, stated that playing for Applewhite is the reason Texas was able to make up so much ground and garner his committement so late in the game. Now that it appears Applewhite will not be here next year, it is natural for then kid to look around.

Bottomline, the staff knew when they got his commit they'd have to work hard to keep it. If he goes he goes, there are others.
