#3 Lexington 41, #10 Crockett 7. Lexington is D1 and Crockett D2, but this was still a beatdown the Eagles needed to give. Great program in Lexington that hasnt ever gotten over that hump in the playoffs. This could be the year.

This one kinda bothers me. Cedar Creek HS outside Bastrop is in its first real year of football. Austin Travis poured it on in a 63-7 demolition tonight. Rebels had no reason to run up the score. Up the road, Elgin had Bryan Rudder clearly outclassed and pulled the dogs off up nearly 40 at the half. Big difference in class and trash.
