Luck would definitely work for me. His name has made it once again back to the top of the candidate list from what I've read.

No. Dodds will move into a "consulting role" The new AD search has been underway. They most likely know who it is already. As soon as this person is announced which will be on or before December 1st Dodds moves into his new role to finish his contract. Mack will be out at seasons end. Expect his retirement announcement very soon.

Finally an opportunity to break over three decades of mediocre football coaches under DeLOSSY Dudd's tenure.

Never heard of Luck before.

Steve Spurrier for head coach AND AD.

6 SEC Conference titles. (before Spurrier, Florida had gone 57 years without an SEC Conf. title.)

8 SEC Eastern Div. Championships

A Heisman winner himself, and coached a Heisman winner.

Spurrier is a master game planner and a real coach (as opposed to imposters relying solely on recruiting to save their behind). His offensive plays would be the exact opposite of what Texas has had for decades - effective and fun. (as opposed to impotent, super-dull and boring)

Luck doesn't seem to be a high-flyer. I'd say NO.
