Talked with 2014 DB Arrion Springs today

Talked with 2014 San Antonio Roosevelt (TX) defensive back Arrion Springs today. I asked him what schools early on are sticking out in the recruiting process.

"Florida, USC, Oregon, Stanford" said to me early Thursday Morning.

My take: He isn't a huge fan of Texas. My guess is he will go out of state. USC if they offer will be where he commits. Already projected by some analysts to be a top recruit in the state of Texas, he is getting some serious attention from other schools. Even with our tradition at DB, this one seems unwinable for Texas.

Red Raiders offered Springs earlier. He looks like a quick, big hitter. If an in state school is a possibility TCU could be in the mix.
