Never doubted it. But I do think OB reporting it reveals how things are really moving now. They are usually slow to pull the trigger.

I'm just fired up at the thought of energy coming back to the game day experience at DKR. It is amazing that at the best football stadium in Texas, with Austin being one of the great party towns and Texas being one of the great party schools, the fans are so disconnected from the program that the game day environment is so dead. That is one hell of an indictment of Mack's handling of the program. Its time to re-energize the fanbase.

I don't disagree but it Mack's defense, you should have seen it before he got there. It has actually gotten worlds better since he's been there.

That said, we are all ready for some new energy and I'm hoping Saban makes it electric again.

This. People have come here because this site has been one of the leads on this story(along with IT) but for whatever reason continue to freak out any time OB/247 posts an update. Those guys are being given old info or are reporting things slowly to cover their bases in case something were to change at the last minute. Either way they aren't in front with this news.
