**Running College Football Updates Thread**

Wonder if we should have gone after Scourton instead of Moore for the edge.
Dude has been making plays all year. Dont even recall hearing Moore"s name mentioned.

Don't look now, but Cal is beating #9 Miami 35-10 near the end of the 3rd.

#10 Michigan fell to Washington, 27-17.

#11 USC lost to Minnesota, 24-17

#1,4,8,9,10,11 all take losses (If Miami doesn't pull a crazy comback with 5 minutes left). The highest ranked team that beat them, A&M at #25.

Well, Miami pulled off the last second win once again. I wonder how many were up watching in Miami for a game that ended 2:30 am ET?

Not me. I quit watching it when it looked like Cal had it in the bag.
I called for an upset in the pick'em thread and was upset that the upset didn't happen.

Michigan has 3 more losses coming. They’ll fall out soon enough.

How do you lose to an unranked team and still be in the top 10?
I know there is a lot of football left to play but I feel there is a bias to keep teams in the running for the playoffs by keeping ranked high.

I think there's something to what you're saying. We've always accused the polls of favoring SEC schools.

The Bama resume is still probably deserving of a high ranking. They did beat Georgia after all.

Another plug for Kford rankings. He calculates a "Most Deserving" rankings each week that is based on resumes only.

Sounds like the transfer has been approached respectfully and cordially with the Bama coaching staff having conversations with him leading up to the decision.

He hasn't received much playing time this year and has been dealing with some injuries, etc. For a former top 100 recruit, he will probably be seen as less than that level of player on the transfer market. That said, legit interior DTs are probably the most limited in supply in the portal.

Is he damaged goods?

He's got 4 years of playing time left. It doesn't seem to me that Sark would take him at this time as he is unproven. Sark uses the portal to fill in for a spot he feels they have a weakness with someone who can play right away, not develop in a year or two. Maybe in a couple of years they would take him if he develops and stays healthy.
