Report: LSU Grad Transfer QB Brandon Harris To Visit Texas

What Primal said.

To add, Herman recruited Harris when he was at tOSU. So there is a previous relationship. But yes, we can't offer him what UNC can.

Unfortunately, part of the evil genius that is Saban, is that he doesn't rely on the qb nearly as much as the others you mentioned. Most coaches rely on very good qb play to win. Saban until recently, could get by on a game manager that doesn't lose the game for him. If he starts missing on stud rbs than he may be in a bit of trouble. Hard to lose with a roster full of 5 star, future nfl talent. Again, unfortunately...
Bama seems invincible, but things always happen. This Clemson-Bama NC game is reminding me of Texas-USC. The Trojans didn't have its fall immediately after the loss, but it set some things in motion and the Reggie Bush investigation was the final domino.

Bama will fall off one day, and I'm highly curious to watch that play out. That's why I'll always watch their QB play moving forward.

I think you have to look seriously at Harris now.

It's a no brainer at this point. I'm curious to see if he is able to make it thru his UNC visit without shutting it down. If you can get him to campus I think he can be sold, but the hurdle still exists of getting him into school.

I watched Harris in a few games last year and wasn't impressed at all.  I saw he miss multiple wide open receivers....and i mean wide open.

I just came away with the impression he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.  I know he was highly rated out of HS but whatever.

Maybe Herman and Beck can turn that around.  Option at backup but I doubt this even gets past the UNC situation.
