This is just complete speculation, but everyone on the Baylor side and even some Texas insiders thought Bonney would decommit by the weekend. The fact that he hasn't decommitted yet, is a good sign IMO.

Not that anyone is, but no one should judge a coaching staffs' ability to recruit based on 4-6 weeks on the job at a new university. REMEMBER, DE Cedric Reed, RB Malcolm Brown and DB Q Diggs all are coming back, which is similar to Mack Brown's claim to fame when he took over the program 16 years ago in securing RB Ricky Williams coming back for his senior year (Not comparing abilities with Ricky to the current group). Mack didn't sway recruits to UT in a short period of time either.

I think Charlie Strong and his staff have done everything possible in a short period of time and furthermore, have been honest with the class of 2015 in stating that they as a staff will be reevaluating since those kids were recruited by Mack and his staff.

I have no problems with what Charlie Strong and staff have done up to this point and that includes the WR from Manvel. If he connects with this staff and really has geniune interest in the university, he will commit to UT once reevaluations are complete and an official offer is extended by the staff.

When I was in school at Kingwood there was only one high school... Damn I'm old.

he's been the starting QB since soph year but I see him being more of an athlete than QB in college
