Wrong. He hasn't done anything to the fan base because he hasn't officially accepted anything. If anything, the BMD's fractured the fan base. It's not their job to make coaching decisions yet this group wants this and that group wants that. Some make public statements about who they want and others push for another behind the scenes. The plane is not on its way back yet. It got diverted Pueblo, CO about 40 minutes south of Colorado Springs. No flight plan from Pueblo has been filed yet. Weather is better down there so maybe Jurich is on route to that airport.

Have to disagree with you on the fan base (us) being a little fractured on this wether it's official yet or not. Just read what everyone is saying. Half of us hate this hire, the other half love it. We're not waiting for it to get messy...it already is...IMO.

Some fans fell in love with the thought of getting the Harbaughs or Saban, so they're disappointed when they don't, even if the coach that is hired is a great coach. I'm very happy with the Strong hire because he's a great coach and seems to be the opposite of Mack Brown. If he ends up turning us down because of the BMD clown show, I almost hope Texas has to settle on an even lesser name. That's what the whiny BMDs and fans deserve.
