RT @BryanDFischer: How bad is UAB job? This bad. RT @schadjoe: UAB Head Coach Garrick McGee to Louisville as OC per source

we need to push hard for our OC and position coaches and get them here fast.

I think the fact that we have not announced yet means that we are probably talking about buyouts and contractual obligations with an OC other than Watson. Watson would have been announced already. I think he is a fall back guy.

so they got there Hc, Dc,Oc in less than 24 hours and here we are still searching...SMH

They are hiring out of work guys and guys from lesser schools. If you don't want Watson then you need to wait...for a guy like Herman you're going to have to talk buyout..

McP posted that Watson is a fallback choice. So something is going on behind closed doors.

Anyone browsing Ohio State boards? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Ultimately, this hiring has no bearing on Texas. Even if Petrino elected to keep Watson on his staff, if Strong and Texas wanted Watson they would've just gave him a better offer than Petrino and Louisville. The fact that nothing has been confirmed yet shows that Strong isn't sure that Watson is his guy down here. And I'd say even if Watson is eventually announced the Offensive Coordinator for the Longhorns, we'd all know that at the most...he was second choice.

This looks very logical for Herman to come here

1 Get out of Urbans shadow, make a name for himself

2 Get a big raise

3 Get back to Texas where he spent a number of yrs coaching at various schools

4 Get to live in Austin, maybe make a big name for yourself

5. If you stay long enough and have success while Strong heads to the NFL, then .........
