Not to be critical but there are times that Quinn looks lazy. That pass was open and a high percentage throw. He just threw it out there.

QE3 still meh. He’s just not into the game and looks lethargic. I’m his biggest supporter. He’s a third year guy I can’t give him any slack of coming back from an injury and needing time.

We are just more explosive with Arch.

Maybe so but I can't help but think Quinn would have been more explosive today had we been playing MSU or ULM. Venables is a much better DC than either of the ones on those teams with a lot more familiarity with Sark and Texas. I'd expect a much sharper/explosive Quinn and Texas next week.

QE3 can run the RPO better than Arch as of today. But with Arch the offense has much more explosive plays. Arch is more accurate on 10+ yd passes where QE3 we are generating explosiveness after the catch. Thankfully our WRs can do that.

I was thinking going into the game that having QE3 means less TOs and good short and intermediate game. But QE3 threw an INT early. Missed probably 2 TDs. His footwork is back to 2022. I can’t help to think that Arch could at least match his game today and honestly would’ve done better. Yes Venables is a good defensive coach but QE3 is missing throws and timing is bad.

Nothing Quinn has showed me today would suggest he’s the better QB anymore. He’s a big game QB and has won some big games for us so hopefully he shows up next week.
