I get that. My point was that even though the yardage was bad, we were forcing turnovers and weren't missing tackles like before. Baby steps, I know, but it's not like this was going to get fixed in one week. I'm interested to see how the defense looks by the end of the year.

Seriously.....what in the hell happened? 2013....Macks last year...the defense simply could not tackle. They looked like they had no direction. Enter Strong and Bedford....2014...the defense looked totally different...good tackling and preperation...at least until they were totally out of gas from playing 36 plus minutes every game.....now...2016...the defense cannot tackle...they seem out of position and confused. WTF?
Was Vaughn that big of a cog in the wheel that we are lost without him? I get the 2014-seniors and juniors ---vs---2016 with the freshmen and sophmores...but no ability to tackle?...the right hand does not talk to the left hand?...The only thing I can point to is the coaches, but arent these the same coaches that put so many guys in the NFL?...seriously..WTF?
