Just spoke with Shaunsters. Two of the names we are hearing that are being vetted for the OC position are Herman at tOSU & Chad Morris at Clemson.

We will keep you guys in the updated as we hear about other possible candidates.

I have a hard time believing Morris but if means he will come and turn around QB development at UT I am all for it. Speaking from the days at LT, the man can coach a QB!

By the way, contract for Saban is signed and has been delivered to UT AD office

There is nobody by the name of Finkel on the tOSU staff. There is a Luke Fickell, but he is their defensive coordinator.

Tom Herman is the OC for the Buckeyes.

Do you care to elaborate on the last sentence?

I stand corrected, I should have said tOSU DC

I have been told that if Saban want him, the buyout will not stop us from getting him.
I've heard about Chad's buyout but does anyone know the exact number? just curious if it's as big as people claim.

Herman is the OC at Ohio State and has ties to Texas. Pretty sure he was a GA here at one point. Ficknell is their DC and he's probably about to get fired.

Morris would be a homerun as he is among the top OC's in the country. The question would be whether or not he'd entertain leaving for other jobs or be promised to take over for Saban down the road. I'd take him in a heartbeat though.

I told Mcphaul Finkell. In my email I was sent it just said the OC at ohio St, no name. But it meant of course Herman
