Who is as stoked as I am about the draft??? Where will our Longhorns be drafted??

I have to let my Longhorns go after college. I love em but I have to hate them if the go to another team. Not real hate, football hate and since Jerry Jones will never draft a Longhorn I have to see guys like Brian Orakpo go to the Redskins. Worse I have to hear him tell of his dislike for my team, the Cowboys.

The worst was Bill Bradley who played for the Philthy Eagles. Super Bill was my favorite and then he became my hated pro football enemy. Shit Happens..

There has always been some trades but this the first year of the new rookie wage scale so it makes rookie contracts all the more valuable. I see this as the catalyst for all kinds of movement. Free agents are expensive but the rookies are a bargain.

I see chaos all over the draft and as we know chaos is greatness.

The new Collective Bargaining Agreement changed things up for rookies, or "entry level compensation" as they call it. Drafted rookies MUST sign 4 year deals with maximum compensation per draft class. I like you Beevomav am a Dallas fan and don't pull for the team the Longhorn player is on but I pull for the individual achievements of each player. Like Orakpo... I want him to play well but not well enough to where his performance changes the outcome of a game against Dallas. RG3 on the other hand... If he is taken by Philly tonight, OFF WITH HIS HEAD I say to the Dallas DE's.

I will be sticking my $$$.02$$$ in and raising hell if my Cowboys draft another LSU DE. Five drafted in last few years and all busts. Brockers is a larger version of Spears and that ain't no compliment..

Hoping, as always, Jerry gets over the Longhorn bias and drafts one or two. I would love to see #2 in silver and blue..

With the 14th pick in the first round the Dallas Cowboys take Mark Barron, Safety, University of Alabama..

BTW..Heads up Cowboys Fans:

The Ticket-1310 Am-Dallas is having wall to wall draft coverage and they are the only Dallas station at the draft in NY. PLus they will have a team at Valley Ranch..Norm Hitzges is manning the draft for the 20th straight year..Forget ESPN and all those feel good stories that bore the shit out of you..Norm will slant things toward Dallas..You must remember, if you have a DVR, to pause your TV for a few seconds to sync you TV to the 8 second delay..
